Frequently Asked Questions:

Q1. How much are classes?

A. All classes have a base rate of £6.00 an hour (subsequent hours work a reduction sliding scale) + club subscription/development fee (increased sliding scale dependent on the amount of hours training per week)

Total monthly fee is worked out on how many weeks and sessions attending in a year; holidays are already built in and with the added bonus of a minimum of one week free. So once your standing order is in place there is no need to stop it during holiday periods.

Our class fee’s start at £25 per month for a 1 hr session per week, gradually increasing to the top end of the scale of £112 for competitive gymnasts training 20 ½ hours per week.

Q2. When are the classes?

A. For details visit our Classes page and our online Waiting List Application form located on our Contact Us page.

Q3. What do children wear to the class?

A. On becoming a member you will receive a Club Handbook, which will outline suitable attire. In general, leotard or shorts and t-shirt.  Bare feet or gymnastic shoes. No loose fitting clothes, buckles or jewellery and long hair to be tied up.

Q4. Venue: Where's the hall?

A. For details visit our How to find us page.

Q5. Waiting list: How do I put my child on?

A. It is now even easier by using our online Waiting List Application form located on our Contact Us page. Once you have filled in and submitted that is it done. We now only hold your Application details for a year, so it is important if we have been unable to offer a place in that time you must submit another application for the following year. You will recieve an allocations letter by email when a space has become available. Please be patient with us, there is a great demand for places and we will endeavour to allocate to the waiting list as soon as they become available.

Q6. How long is the waiting list and when will my child be offered a space?

A. We have accommodation for 256 Recreational places at present.  We have 300-600 on our waiting list at any given time looking for a place in one of these sessions.  Unfortunately it is difficult to predict when spaces become available, it very much depends on how many existing participants decide to give up their place. On average 6 months + waiting time for a allocation to be offered, this will also be dependant on what class you have applied to attend and how long the waiting list is at the time of your application.

Q7. Adult enquiries?

A. At present we do not run adult classes for over 18s.

Q8. FAST enquiries (freestyle)?

A. At present we are unable to offer Freestyle sessions. We do hope to reintroduce them in the future.

Q9. Progression structure? (how to get into competitive, assessments in recreational classes, movement through the club)

A. This is explained both in the Club Handbook, details can also be found on our Home page and clicking  Competitive Squads link.

Q10. Club transfers?
